In 2001, James and Angela Lowden established a foundation supporting the visual arts. The foundation was created as a result of Angela Lowden’s love of children and her passion for art. Art Therapy isn’t performed during the sessions but, some of the components of art therapy are used to develop positive outcomes for students. It is implemented in a suburban school district in Pittsburgh, PA. To date, this after-school program has served over 900 students.
